Stainless Fabrication opened for business in 1985 building large, field fabricated tanks. Our highly skilled personnel use innovative equipment and efficient fabrication methods to construct tanks up to 750,000 gallons wherever our customers need it–even on the side of a mountain or a mile below the earth’s surface in an abandoned mine.
Shop Fabricated Tanks and Vessels
While SFI started field fabricating large, above-ground tanks, within two years we added shop fabrication capabilities that includes building tanks up to 35,000 gallons in our facility in Springfield Missouri.

SFI is qualified (NBIC “R” stamp) to perform inspections and make modifications to existing stainless steel tanks and ASME pressure vessels in our shop or on-site at customer facilities.
