THAT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE A TANK

Not yet anyway, but it will…  Many of the vessels we produce are built on-site at customer facilities.  In fact, SFI has five crews dedicated to building tanks on location.  These crews are accustomed to working together as a team to erect tanks in this manner.

To ensure the materials are ready for the crew to begin their work once they arrive, a portion of the work takes place in our Springfield, Missouri facility. The material is preprocessed in our shop, meaning it is sheared to the correct shape and size, then rolled and stacked prior to shipping to the field.  Accessories such as ladders, platforms and handrails are built in the shop and shipped, ready to install on-site when needed.  Components such as internal pipe coil and manways are also shipped ready to install.  Preparing the work in this way helps to make the field portion of the work highly efficient.
