Who is the Artist?

The image below looks like the thought-provoking abstract art you might find in the lobby of a fancy office building when in reality, it is a photo that was taken inside a huge field-built stainless steel tank.  Light enters through the various fittings and reflects off the tank’s interior surfaces, the fabrication equipment, fittings and weld seams creating an interesting pattern of lines, circles and shadows on the tank’s shiny interior.

This particular tank is 35 feet in diameter and 80 feet tall from top to bottom.  It has a polished interior and will be used for storage in the food processing industry.

Building tanks such as this on-site at customer facilities is common-place for SFI; in fact, it’s how we got our start and we’ve been doing it for 35 years. Our method of fabrication allows SFI crews to work in all sorts of conditions - whether building tanks indoors or outdoors, under roof or inside a structure.
