WHAT IS THAT?

At first glance, you might think this was going to be a file sorter or binder holder or even an organizer for sheet material.  In reality, this assembly is part of a very large piece of equipment that was built in our shop.  What you see pictured is nearly 12-feet wide and over 7-feet high.  As you take a closer look, you’ll see that it goes back fairly deep and turns to the right.  It’s overall length is nearly 45-feet.  That's a really big footprint...  It’s huge!

While much of the stainless vessels we build have a cylindrical configuration, either vertical or horizontal, this is an example of the specialty equipment SFI builds when called upon.  It’s constructed of 304 stainless steel and is outfitted with four manways at various locations along the length.
