CYLINDRICAL VESSELS PLUS

WE BOLDLY GO… We are a stainless steel tank fabricator and while we aren’t building ships for space travel, some of the equipment we build looks like that may be where it’s headed.

In addition to building cylindrical tanks ranging in size from a few gallons to 750,000 gallons, SFI also fabricates non-typical vessels such as the unit shown in the photo.  When complete, this stainless steel vessel will be roughly 17 feet high, 44 feet long, 22 feet at the widest point and designed for 500°F temperatures.

SFI personnel have the knowledge and experience necessary to build high quality, custom stainless steel tanks and vessels.  We opened in 1985 as a field fabricator of custom stainless steel tanks.  Two years later we added shop fabricated tanks to our product offering.  We have no standard sizes or stock tanks.  Everything is custom and built to spec.   

Our quality control program is based on the ASME Section VIII, Division 1 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and our welders are ASME certified.  Because we offer a wide variety of options (materials, finishes, fittings, components, etc.), we are able to work with customers in most industries.
