No Matter the Weather

In spite of snowfall, this monster-tank was loaded and ready to leave our facility bright and early the next morning, heading for its Wisconsin destination. 

This particular chemical tank was built in our shop.  It is 15-feet in diameter, over 59-feet long and weighs 57,000 pounds.  The tank is supported by a skirt that provides access to the bottom fittings.  It has ASME dimpled heat transfer surface and is designed for 250°F.  This tank is insulated with a stainless steel outer jacket and the two manways provide access to the tank interior from the top and the bottom heads.
