The Regional Manager is the main point of contact, working closely with the customer from beginning to end. Their responsibilities include estimating, creating formal proposals, negotiating sales, writing orders and change orders, coordination with the other departments, communication with customer throughout project, and assurance of customer satisfaction. If issues arise during fabrication or after shipment, the Regional Manager will involve other departments as needed to resolve problems, make changes, and do what it takes to make things right.
The SFI sales force consists of technically trained regional (territory) managers having vast knowledge and experience in stainless steel tank manufacturing. Custom software, specially designed for SFI is used for estimating tanks and tank components.
Detailed technical quotations are typed and typically provided by email.

Carthel is the Sales Manager and also manages a territory. He started working at SFI as an Estimator in 1990 and was promoted to Regional Manager a few years later. He has been the Sales Manager since 2003. Carthel had 11 years previous industry experience prior to coming to SFI.
Carthel has vast experience in both shop and field fabricated tanks for customers in all industries served by SFI. He is also responsible for pricing and project management of the spray drying equipment and freezer enclosures built by SFI.

In 1990, Keith began working as a shop welder, moving to Layout Designer in 1994, and has been a Regional Manager since 2000. Keith is responsible for a territory with emphasis on new markets and specialized equipment.

Marvin started working at SFI in 2005 and had 14 years previous industry experience in areas of CAD Design, Components Sales, Project Management, Product Management and Tank Sales. Marvin is responsible for both territory and key account sales. He specializes in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and is an active member of the ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering).

Darin returned to SFI in 2009 after pursuing other opportunities. He worked for SFI previously from 1987 to 2001 as a field welder, a shop welder / field service technician, a CAD Designer, and a Regional Manager responsible for a sales territory. Today, Darin is responsible for assisting the sales team with quotes and project management. Darin is also the contact for replacement parts.
